Larry grew up on a small farm in China Grove, NC and graduated from Piedmont Bible College in Winston-Salem. His wife, Starla, grew up on the island of St. Lucia as a missionary kid. They have been married for 37 years and have two grown sons. Larry and Starla have been involved in youth ministry and missions for most of their married life. In addition to Church In Motion, he also tutors at Heritage Christian Homeschool Services. Helping folks of all ages connect with their Creator and make quality life decisions are two of his most satisfying pursuits. Larry enjoys hiking, photography, gardening, and Ping-Pong when he has some spare time. Starla works in administration at Beverly-Hanks Realty, enjoys music (especially piano), and is an integral part of CIM worship & Kids In Motion. She is a constant source of encouragement and support to Larry – they make a great team
